My take on it is this...
The game was put out in easy mode. This attracted a lot of players for bug fixing.

Now they updated the game into hard mode. I guess it is fine as some people are saying they don't even notice a difference.

IDK I gave up playing.

I hope at some time in the future they let players choose to adjust some things between the two extremes we have seen so far. But it is up to the devs to produce the game they want to make.

I guess you can mod the game, I don't mod... but some people even before the food and stamina nerf were modding stamina out of the game since it was difficult enough to manage in easy mode.

Anyway I wish them luck, tell them how you feel and just go play another game if it bothers you that much.

Personal opinion. But I feel like something has got to give. Between the slow regen of stamina, the very limited amount, how much being wet, cold, etc slows it, and how much it costs to jump, attack, run, etc... it's all a bit too rough for me. I can play it but it's lost a bit of fun for me. When it takes 5 - 8 swings early game just to take down a single digit of copper vein you end up waiting 80% of the time for stam to regin. Takes the wind out of my sails lol

Its all a slowdown thing. There really isn't a ton of content there, but if they make every action take 10x as long due to stamina taking forever to recharge, then the game seems, well, 10x longer.

Like a more clever in-game version of that thing Anthem did that makes you wait 24 hours between quests so it takes you more than 1 day to beat the whole thing.

exactly this. it's not about being hard or easy. that's delusion. it's hard to see someone telling bitter truth these days.

waiting 1 minute to hit a rock has nothing to do with challenging/hardmode.

this makes sense... slowing down game progress by a cheap nerf is unacceptable, imho

I legit didnt notice any severe difference. Yeah, game is a little harder now, but it's not like it has become unplayable, lol

It does slow the game way down in a not so fun way. Which is too bad too, because obviously the game is fun otherwise. In fact, from what I can tell people enjoy it for hundreds of hours in just creative mode with no grind. I'm not saying there shouldn't be stamina. My opinion is only that right now it seems a bit excessive.

Makes you wonder what they spent weeks testing before release, ha ha.

They must have used console commands in the testing phase. Only way I can figure it.

Use 3 stamina foods when you are fishing , its not rocket science

Yeh, they ruined the stamina in this. I had trouble just reeling in a fish as well. Also, bye bye stamina if you have to repair a few pieces due to weathering.

The health/stamina was great as it was. They nailed it on day one. It was well balanced. Why fix something that wasn't broken.

You need 3 of every vegetable ( less anions ) to craft it ,and most be in a hang position, not stick in a wall , i take time to figure out too haha
