Wolves are actually insane, even more so than lox. I have an army of 1 star wolves and they kick ass. If you have around 20-30 of them you can basically just sit and see them slaughter everything around you.

Now if you're on the mistlands level and add in the protective shield they become near invinsible. I think the swamp is still an area of vulnerability for not shielded wolves due to all the AOE poison ripping through multiple wolves at a time. In the plains they are more useful and rip through goblins and even berserkers with ease.

As a person who has played Legend of Zelda extensively, yes you will. You will definitely die laughing.

My experience is that it's all scalable. The currently tamable wolves are good for that game play. Else players need to adjust to their specific situations. Like having Lox instead of wolves, etc.

there is a video on YT that shows you how to tame 2 star wolves, those wolves cover meadows, plains,swamp and dark forest. they are no good in the mountains and are sometimes a pain to boat them around, just avoid things on the shores so the wolves wont get aggressive and jump off the boat. you can bring them and breed them at your base to help protect it. you can also train lox and there is YT videos on that as well, do not breed them near your base. they tend to break things will defending haha. they are good in all bios as far as fighting but you only can ride one. wolves wont go after other wolves and lox wont go after another lox. but, they will go after every thing else. fun fact bores will defend your base as well if tamed, have not tried to see if chickens do haha i would die laughing watching that if they did. hope this helps you in you long journey of fun.

Use blood magic and cast the barrier to protect them. I had a swarm of 2 star boars hold their own against goblins because of the barrier.
