The seed doesn't even matter... It's even more random than that.

If you load 2 worlds with the same world seed, the location of the burial chamber will be the same on both worlds, but the interior will be completely different from each other.

It is random...

But if you are like me.... you will only get one or two per crypt until you don't need them anymore and then you will get 10 to 20 per crypt.

You need to fine the Surtling Fires in the swamps, then make a portal to then. This will allow you to farm many Cores in a few minutes.

It's random. Doesn't seem to matter where the crypt is. You might get a small one without much in it, or one with more than one spawner that leads to a room with several cores.

I've been having terrible luck in the last few runs with two starred skeletons and putrid remains in my very first crypts out of the meadows.

That sucks. Last crypt a 2 star skel and his cronies took me down to 4 life. Thought I was a goner as I didn't realize I had finished him with my last blow. I guess I have been fairly lucky with the cores. There were not many chambers in the 1st forest I explored though. The one I found 9 is close to where Elder spawns.

I've found up to 13 in one Burial Chamber. A few with none, or 1-2 though. RNG is huge with the dungeons, but overall they seem to be a lot more rewarding than pre H and H. Might just be RNG favoring me though. Iron seems to be a lot easier to find as well. Just seems to be a lot more treasure and rewards in the various dungeons that I've explored. They seem to be better generated as well. Burial Chambers especially with a decent amount of vertical exploration.

Enemies seem to be a bit nastier though. Saw a lot of 1/2* skellies, and a fair few Putrids when I was farming up Cores post-Eikthyr. There also always seems to be one corridor off the entrance, at least, that doesn't have a door in it, so I'm fighting right from the start when they wander into the entrance chamber.
