NPC Mobs should have same restrictions as player.
mobs should have stamina bar, limited ammo, restrictions on weapon uses like player.
Also when mobs hit player there should be no stamina loss.
when playing sports and somebody body checked me I didn't lose stamina..
love the game - but some things need changing as mobs have advantage on the player.
Drugar - skele -shoot bows from underwater
trolls with logs can swing log in water
tree guys can throw rocks in water while swimming
no stamina or skill for any of the npc mobs

Wow, reanimated skeleton stamina, wishing to ride about - A fully grown Viking Warrior, on the back of a Wolf and mechanic to work out your differences with Trolls in a non violent manner.... These comments are gold.

Agree with this. I'd like enemies to also receive fall damage. When I knock a wolf off a tall ledge, I expect it to die and not gently land on its feet to run up and attack me again.
But for the other stuff npcs have it hard already, they can't even jump. No need to tie their hands some more

It should be possible to negotiate peace with trolls.
And I didn´t see these opponents yet in my beginner games, but if they all can behave in water, like it´s no water - that could be improved indeed.

Imagine a troll jumping over rocks, tree's and tree branches and logs to smack you with that mallet. I.e. if they do have a stamina bar it would be bigger than that players. They are taller than most water fronts so you would still be owned by them. Many many faults associated with this.

who says trolls need a big stam bar, for instance they can swing that log 3 times and then they need to recoup stam. It's the design of the function and how much stam value is given as a number. Which comes down to balancing things.

Agree on everything though hesitated on the stamina issue.
I can deal with Undead having effectively unlimited Stamina.. if it was not for the fact we as "dead Heroes" are kinda the same...
So if I a dead Viking cant breath underwater nor can a Draugr. I cant shoot? Neither can they!
We can either fight with SOME weapons at least or be allowed to Dive (very badly needed that! - also PS Devs a Modder managed it so you probably can as well be brave!) or the Mobs can it it out pleease!

yes, players can do a lot of stuff npc can't but that's game play - if npc have stamina like players then I wouldn't care about the other stuff they can do.
You go swing a log the size of yourself a couple times and see how tired you are. Npc stam - they can't chase you or hit you endlessly - as mentioned the troll with big log swing swing, run run, swing, run.
at this point player has to find a spot to recoup stam or use a potion as the troll comes running at you again with another log swing of endless stam. - example

I agree, but there is an equal number of preposterous things that a player can do and benefit from:
- parrying ranged attacks
- lines/ropes cutting through impassable terrain like walls
- enemies clipping through walls (thus enemy level easy to determine)
- swimming with 20 units of iron with no penalty whatsoever
The Unity 3D engine, that Val is built on, is far from perfect.
Other than that, some enemies simulate stamina loss by running a little circle around you or close to you, during which time they do not attack you. You are doing the same thing when swarmed - you walk a little to recover stam before you parry or strike again.
