Help with progress
I can´t figure out what to do after getting copper, only thing game allows me to made in my workshop is stupid upgraded copper knife, which is imho not worth all those moments when half of Dark forest tried to kill me.
Only result of my work is chest full of copper with no use and one knife. Game is not much helpful.

If you actually read everything the black bird says, you'll know where to find tin.
Funny idea, Of course, i did not.
That bird appears often in situations when i have few other problems than listen his tutorial and when he finaly talks then really not for long which sucks.

There is a way to troll the troll. Trolls can't be tamed like boars, wolves and surprise. But.. you can use them to delete whole forests of wood. I used 2 trolls to make one black forest toally blank. Was fun.

ok then, i have lot of time. Anyway, first i have to care about my hole with wolves.
If you're just getting into copper and tin, then you should really, really, REALLY, be avoiding wolves. They'll one shot you. Concentrate on the Black Forest biome. That is the stage of the game you're on. Wolves are Mountain biome, that comes later.

OP what the hell are you even going on about wolves? You haven't even made bronze yet, you will get slaughtered ENDLESSLY if you mess with wolves right now. Black forest has copper and tin, copper is pretty common and as for tin, i shore hope you have the best of luck finding them.

As i said. I stuck on copper, so i found another kind of entertainment in Valheim, more risky, more fun.
I know wolves are sharp bastards. Thats reason to start collect em in small wolf pit. Its not so hard to get em into trap if you find good place on the mountain / meadow border with one lonely wolf.
BTW Trolls seem to be smarter than wolves. I have no luck with catching trolls into deep pits, they just destroy everything around and never step on my trap. :) But im keep trying that, there must be a way to troll the troll.

Or just, you know, use the wiki.

You may want to investigate tin, and forge an alliance with the copper.

I will tell you as little as possible becuase the most fun and satisfaction you will have by figure things out yourself.
Ok. Pull out your hammer and check what you can do with your hammer. Thats it
Or even check what you can do at your workbenches. The Guide Bird Munin or Hugin would had tell you anyway what you need to do.

"Because of the higher specific gravity of tin dioxide, about 80% of mined tin is from secondary deposits found downstream from the primary lodes. Tin is often recovered from granules washed downstream in the past and deposited in valleys or the sea."

In an attempt not to frustrate you, Tin is in the same biome.. but other posters have left you clues as to where to find it!
Trust me, discovery is a huge part of the fun in the game. Don't get discouraged! (Also, collect everything you see at least one time in case it unlocks a recipe.)
