No. Just low level caverns + loot

Developers seem to be a bit lazy nowadays. For instance: Okay they've added caves an some bats. The thing is: bats drop leatherscraps....flying piglets? Wasted opportunity to add something new.

It is hard to tell honestly. The game is still being developed so we don't know if this is just some placeholder to add something later we get from the mistlands or something.

For now just think of it as an additional drop source that can be tweaked later.

There is a related saying in business as well. As a company you want to "promise good and deliver great". You want to set it up so you can exceed expectations or at worst do as expected... although that can be difficult in this industry if not handled properly.

if villagers are ever put into the game ... I would come back to this game in a heart beat.

honestly, doubtful itll take that long. but im not a game dev so what do i know.

I'm a pess-optimist .... I tell myself to expect the worst so I always end up pleasantly surprised or at worst what I expected.

Hearth and Home did roll out. It added a new food system, some changes to blocking, new build pieces and a new critter in the plains. More back end stuff than front end content, but it needed to be done. There's a new swamp monster and a new swamp light armor set. I'm not saying that the most recent update was "Cult of the Wolf" but it was "Cult of the Wolf," with mountain caves, a few new enemies, another light armor set and a few build pieces.

Mistlands is in active development now, so give it a few months and we'll see what happens there.

So yes, a couple of them did roll out, but the game is still far from finished.

Rushing through the game, killing all the bosses is not having it „done all“, IMHO.

I like building, exploring, traveling the fair seas, and so on. Valheim is not just a pure action game.

Some updates have rolled out, but the game is far from finished. If you've beaten all the bosses from the early days, you're probably better off waiting a bit more.

They're just kinda drip-feeding us little bits of content for already established systems, nothing substantial yet. I'd wait until they get some work done on the Mistlands.
