Well, that sucks. Yagluth is so hard to defeat solo. Tried a few times and haven't managed to do it yet. The bow breaks before he is dead, melee he always manages to hit me hard enough to kill be before I kill him. Gonna have to find someone to give me a hand to get rid of him then.

Barley Wine, Health mead, dodge attacks and smack him to pieces. Even when fully loaded, Bonemass does more damage to me than Yagluth.

Take more than 1 bow if it breaks use the spare. easy. Do you only take 1 pickaxe when mining I always carry 2 bows and 2 pickaxes.

Ya that is what I ended up doing, brought 3 bows and killed him.

Yagluth fight was alright to solo using Frostner and Drauger bow with silver arrows when melee wasn't an option. Good food, potions and moving around are key to defeating him.

I also prepped the fight so 1 of his attacks was easy to negate and another wasn't nearly as lethal. Plus no enemies could join the fight.

The merchant now unlocks items for sale based on your progress through the game. I don't know what unlocks eggs, though.

My daughter told me that you have to beat Yagluth before the Trader will sell the eggs. I haven't verified this but I assume she looked that up somewhere.

^^^Your daughter is wise. I can confirm the egg becomes available after Yagluth is defeated.

Ymir flesh is now only available after defeating Bonemass.
