Yes, I think they spawn at night. I've heard that if you don't place the trophy you got, then they won't spawn, but too late now

I would secure the base (I like to have a moat) and sleep at night so you don't have to deal with them once a day.

Yes, normal after Yagluth's defeat. I haven't yet mounted Yagluth's trophy on the sacrificial stone, thinking that might avoid this scenario, but the fulings are around in the meadows and black forests at night (I haven't checked swamp and mountain) anyway. The good news is that the night spawns don't seem to be that common.

because ive already read that, i'm simply not gonna beat the 5th boss at the moment.

is there any reason for beating him at the moment?

do they spawn on island ? (will I be safe if i have managed to prevent drake raid spawn ?)

Not mounting the trophy should prevent the Plains raid event, but night spawns aren't that and yes, after you've killed Yagluth, you will get a couple of Fulings spawn at night as well as everything else. Nothing you can't handle though if you've already proven yourself ;)

It's only at night and it's only meadow and black forest.

Killing boss is enough to trigger the fulings in the meadows and to disable the yagluth raid,
yes, killing this boss is preventing this raid, while not killing boss = raid can occur
it can be resetten using commands tho, then they stop spawning in meadows (and you can kill boss again to trigger it again)

currently not much of a reason
once you kill yagluth the yagluth army raid is disabled -> that's good thing
and he drops only "placeholder" item, currently does nothing, in future might do something

and you can prevent the fuling spawns in meadows using... spawn preventing buildings

No there is not good reason.

One could say the fulings bring blackmetal to your base but how much do you really need? Once you have your stuff and upgraded as well there is not much need for more and you get plenty of that stuff from raiding their villages anyway.

I don´t fight yagluth either, I don´t see the need for it. I stopped after defeating moder and now I´m just exploring and sailing, building outposts, hunting serpents and doing other nonsensical stuff lol.

Oh? I have only mounted the first three trophies. I only need the Bonemass power and I see no need for either Moder's or Yagluth's power yet, or at least until we know what we will face when Mistlands and Ashlands are implemented.
I only get raid events for those first three and none from Mountain or Plains...

and it's right about the "trigger conditions" in the table
first boss raid can only happen if you didn't kill eikhtyr
black forest boss raid can only happen if you killed eikhtyr and didn't kill the elder
swamp boss raid can only happen if you killed the elder and didn't kill bonemass
mountain boss raid can only happen if you killed bonemass and didn't kill moder
plains boss raid can only happen if you killed moder and didn't kill yagluth


monster raids don't have the "disable" trigger, once they are unlocked, they are valid


apart from trigger conditions you also have to be in location with 3 or higher "base value" (it's calculated by counting spawn preventing buildings in 40m radius around player, duplicates count too, so 3 firepits are enough)


every 46min there is 20% that game will TRY to spawn raid
if this 20% triggers... then it checks whether you meet the trigger conditions and base value and selects one random of "valid raids"


there are also biome limitations, so if you are in biome with no "valid raids" and 20% triggers... then no raid spawns
