I was mining a copper node after digging around and under it, didn't notice that my food had expired, and fell 2-3 meters to my death when the copper I was standing on died :p

u have to start using '' hammer'' weapon to get rid of ticcs...problem fixed...next!

i was afk on top of my friends house and when i got back i just jumped off. Problem was my food ran out so i splatted on the ground. best part was he was just leaving the house and i just slammed into the ground right in front of him

Yes, 2-star enemies are WAAAY strong then 0-star and 1-star versions of it. Even with the strongest armor, the lowest 2-star monster can give you a work to deal with. Unfortunately this is a skill issue. You have to think better to deal with them, knowing you can't simply parry thinking you'll have stamina enough to attack, thinking about the geographic where you are, 2-star monsters aren't simply "go and kill".
