Yea I actually would like to turn this off.. I will look into mods for it. It's annoying if I am at my base I'm usually building or making something or just chilling afk waiting for somethings to process.. I do not need this extra level of annoyance.

talking about when youre just minding your business on open world, doing something and there are ZERO enemies nearby, and all of sudden a pack of monsters just appear out of nowhere going after you for no reason. you didnt aggro them from afar, they didnt just randomly walk into you, they are spawned literally to walk directly to the player and attack them

Never had that happen in 300 hours of play. You are either playing with mods or online & someone is trolling you

no mods, my first time playing the game
this event happens all the time since i started playing, but at the beginning its usually just one greyling or two, but as you progress to more difficult biomes it happens with more mobs

I think this just occurs when chopping down trees or mining which makes a lot of noise attracting the local fauna to come investigate the invading Viking.
Nighttime you can come across enemies more frequently and they sometimes travel in little packs of like 3-4 or so depending on the environment.
Imo Valheim could use like... 1-3 difficulty levels. 1 being easy without the extra aggro of making noise and invasions, 2 being what we have and 3 being something worthy of true Vikings who want that extra challenge with perhaps increase spawn rates / density, slightly higher rate of starred enemies and starred enemies can show up during Invasions rarely.
I also want to see a lot more places of interest the player can stumble across when exploring - perhaps some could be bound to the difficulty you play on as well like a ruined keep in plains occupied by fulings who killed the previous occupants.

Op is right, this does happen but I don't mind it -- first noticed it with greydwarves in the BF. You can sneak however and if your skill is decent they will stop going for you

i would have no issues with this feature if losing aggro wasnt such a hassle, you literally have to walk a marathon or log out of the game to stop them from going after you

Yea usually due to making noise an enemy group will spawn a distance away and wander up to you. You can avoid it by leaving the area or sneaking successfully though that may depend on the lvl of sneaking.
Meadows it's Greylings, Black Forest it's Grey Dwarves, Swamp I think would be drauger or skeletons and perhaps the green blobs, Mountain is usually drakes and sometimes wolves, plains is fulings and mistlands I think is just seekers though I found that gjall can aggro from some distance if you are making too much noise.

Not sure what OP is about, but here is my rant :
Land from a boat in a random swamp biome -> all of the biome, from dozens screens away, come to you like magnets. Draugrs, leeches, skeletons, goos, whatever. Homing straight on you. No wood cutting ; just landing from a boat.
This part is not cool. Let me agro what i dare to agro, give me the choice to proceed carefully spending time playing the game ; or to proceed recklessly and pay the price if i bite more than i can chew. But autopull from miles away is a weak excuse for a difficulty balancing.
