Add random loot drops and please make the chests better
The loot is always the same, adventuring is literally just looping the: Kill monsters and mine ores. Make adventuring more fun by adding buildings that actually can contain some useful items.

But then adventuring would be looping the: Kill monsters and mine ores and hope to get the desired loot. That's worse in my ears.

It is fair to say the chests in buildings and buried around the world are an undeveloped feature at present. They contain coins, things you sell for coins, or junk.
