Agree not worth it

Remember that this allows you to basically eat two deer meat instead of just one at a time. As deer meat and deer stew are two different food items. Seems worth it as long as the berries are not a huge hassle to get in your world.

yeah berries are not too hard to get, but carrots demands time and "management' in order to keep a constant supply of them

Perhaps the basic cooked meats: boar, wolf and deer are just too good? Either that or recipes like Deer Stew are underpowered.

Either way I agree, something ain't right.

Yes its a bit weird, maybe it should switch places with the mince meat sauce as that one needs boar meat instead.

A simple way to make these cooked items more useful would be have the recipe produce 2 of the stuff.

heck if they just gave it the ability to counter act cold that'd balance it out without making it broken. not like the wolf armor does, but just the general level of cold from night. so say you went into the mountains, without fire you'd still be freezing.

likewise, eyescream could give a hot area debuff removal. i think we all know the ashlands will eventually have a Hot Debuff for the land area, overcome by being wet or potion buff. untill you can get gear made from the molten rocks there.

Yeah I was about to say that if it produce at least 2,that would be worth it. otherwise, I guess been able to eat the same type of meat twice could be a positive way somehow
