For those with exposure issues while indoors (half-wall "windows" bug)
If you are having issues with the game telling you you are exposed while indoors in certain areas of your house or whatever, despite having walls and a roof and so on, and therefore not getting rested status - this should fix it assuming you are using half-walls to create windows. The half-walls don't seem to pass whatever shelter check is happening to constitute "sheltered" status, so having a half wall is akin to having no wall, even if there is a wall above it and to the sides, and a roof, etc. So a house with many windows using half walls will have many seemingly random spots tell you you are exposed.
The fix? Put one of the 2m wood beams across the top lip of the half wall. It not only looks better, like a window frame almost without covering the window itself, but the beams and pillars pass these checks (which is why gazebo style homes using a roof and only pillars seems to also work despite being more open than half-wall windowed houses).
This should make the entire inside of a windowed house "sheltered" as it should be.

Nice, I have also used the Roof Crosses as half walls and made them shelterable from the front by clipping glass blocks into them. They are really nice looking for this purpose, also make excellent fencing for your farm.
