the road map was thrown out when this game sold very well. not sure why some players keep bringing it up. it not valid info anymore has not been for about 2 yrs now.

however very good ideas for the ocean update when and if this happens.

I think the logic behind folks thinking Ashlands is next is because it is already populated with certlings and flametal ore.

I think they need to work on quality and optimization of building. Building in this game is a major seller and it could only make the game more enjoyable if they did. Adding new building pieces both early, mid and late game as well.

When it comes to the gameplay mechanics/ combat system...The stamina system needs re working and food buffs need to be tweaked. Also the weapon stats needs reworking to make it less grindy. But most importantly but also the hardest...the AI needs more substance.

This is a lot to ask for...but I'm hopeful and open minded

We have The Ocean (unfinished), The Ashlands, and The Deep North, the latter 2 being completely barren right now, and the Ocean only partially completed. If it's anywhere along the same timeline as the last major update, about 2 years. If they use some of those fat profits they made off this game, then I could see The Ocean being done in a few months, but lets not kid ourselves :)

If they drip feed random foods, graphical tweaks, cross play optimization, and event themed furniture for the next 12 months, the game will probably die off completely though. I hope they operate with a little more urgency with the next round of updates, and focus on adding fun, engaging content.

The ocean could be polished off with some more enemies to fight (Kraken please), deep sea fishing (new rod), maybe a new boat or two (fishing boat?), update the swimming system?(its time IG). Since some of it's already been done, I'd assume this would be the next biome they try to tackle, but maybe they wanna take another 2 years an craft Deep North or Ash lands...who knows.

Hopefully the map generator gets some work. Thats my most wanted feature right now.

What is your issue with the map generator??

You mean like as far as being able to customize things?

I'd love to see a slider to control the % of biomes and maybe select large, medium or small islands.. lots of rivers, lots of mountains etc..

I recall someone saying ashlands was next but I couldn't find any info to confirm. At this point it could be anything. I'm really hoping they expand on older content and perhaps even add magic to early game. We could use more armor and weapons choices as well.

I got a feeling they will probably squeeze a few smaller updates into the game as they work on the next area, as they have already done to keep players occupied with earlier biomes until the next major update, I'm pretty sure they said was Ashlands, but can't remember where I saw or heard the comment.

Next real major update? Probably 10 months.

Yea I'd say 9-12 months. It will be awhile that's for sure. I am not really too eager to have the entire ocean changed.. I hope they do Ash or Frozen first.

Do you really feel ocean is next? I feel that might really be the last biome due to all the myths and legends of vikings finally slaying the "Krakken" but i mean i could be totally wrong.

I'm hoping the next one is deep north, ashlands and then the ocean. The deep north is going to be epic i just know it is. BET they're gonna add some crazy boots or something that enable you to run or climb up mountains easily just like the cape that helps you float down in the mistlands. LOL but anyways, my hopes are high and still have yet to be let down.
