I wish I knew deathsquitoes are more dangerous than they look

Personalty I'm glad I knew next to nothing when I started, made the world seem far more dangerous and surprising :)

*Edit : Almost forgot - Wish I had known to always park my boat in a box. Never gets destroyed, nails never sink too deep.

If I was to hazard a guess, I'd say english isn't OP's first language.

A trick I wish I knew is to hollow out just enough of a large rock or large tree to create enough shelter to throw down a campfire and sit by it to refresh the Rested buff and always have it active.

Being Rested is key to efficiently leveling up in this game.

Don't make Bronze Armor. It is barely more protection than Troll Armor while slowing you down 10% and just being insanely resource intensive. It's a massively useless grind of material and time thanks to needing both copper and tin. Stick with Troll until Iron Armor, which is actually a massive upgrade.

When you play many survival games you get an acquired logic of how things work in a specific order .
Health clean water weapons shelter fire bed.
Never stray too far from your base till you have achieved that.
Then when its time to expand build another small shelter with the basics hut or find one and fix it up .
Lots of abandoned villages and small huts scattered around.
Then again craft bed fire chest . Get rest.
Work out the basics of this game take your time.
So I dont need to know or feel " wish I had known stuff in early stages "
Its a discovery and learn by but always look after your char first.

I wish I had known not to leave the first island I was on via raft. The raft is the worst thing in this game! So slow!

I wish I knew that swamps contained crypts and weren't just empty wastelands.

I wish I had known the arrow on the bottom-left of the minimap was the wind direction. Completely slipped past me, ended up running twenty minutes in the wrong direction (and sailing on a raft too) with a friend until we realized. And yes, we were going away from the next intended area.

I wish I could understand this post more, it hurt my brain trying to read it.....A tip for newcomers, it would be to learn from your mistakes, Valheim can be cruel if you don't prepare yourself, food is your best friend and don't be shy eating or you'll suffer.

Take your time preparing for new biomes especially swamp/mountain and plains, learn to parry effectively and get good with a bow, we could spoon feed all the advice available but there's no better teacher than experience, if you ever need a helping hand or advice feel free to ask here i'm sure someone will offer assistance
