just some fun update ideas
these are things valheim doesnt need but maybe some like minded people would find them to be fun additions.
i think some more variation in the boats would be fun, i had 3 ideas that could be interesting.
1: a canoe that would be kinda between the raft and karve, it wouldnt have a sail but have a higher paddle speed as for a slower but more consistent travel regardless of wind, also no storage slots. maybe even add a "sprint" function. maybe it would cost core wood and fewer bronze nails.
2: a transport ship. costing iron (or maybe even silver) and slower than the longboat, but it could be used to move animals without killing them. maybe like 1 lox or 2 wolves or 4 pigs could fit. and maybe have the largest cargo size.
3: the Holk. a ship that costs blacksteel. a holk is a larger early medieval period ship with a forecastle. this one would be slower but have more health than the longboat but less cargo than the transport. maybe it could have a combat function? could be something like a mounted ballista, but not necessary.
and an additional idea for the longboat and karve that it would be nice if the passengers in the seats could row for more speed.
(i know this is getting long but maybe someone will find these thoughts interesting too)
some more land "vehicles" (like the cart) could be fun too. adding more variation to build is always a plus for me.
1: a wagon. something that would larger than the cart and maybe have a mobile basic workbench for simple placing and repairing wood structures. you could tie it to a lox with a saddle for moving. and i imagine it would cost iron or silver to make, maybe even blacksteel depending on how late game it should be.
2: a plow. basically you just pull it like the cart but it would act like the cultivator and be used for faster and easier cultivating and seeding. maybe iron?
any other ideas that people have are always fun to hear.
