I totally agree. Using arrows on him takes forever (at least from Youtube videos I watched). Using the iron mace and banded shield, it took a few minutes and was a lot more exciting (in my opinion).

The boss might follow you but your idea will not work. The bosses are not hostile to any creatures, regardless what faction they belong too.

Thanks for the reply! Didn't want to waste a lot of time setting it up for it not to work.

We built a tree house really high up ages away in the swamp. Kited bonemass using a boat along the swamp edge. Bailed outta the boat and up to the top of the treehouse and railed him with 200 frosties.
