Clear fog without mistlight ?

Im hoping to be able to avoid killing Yag to avoid enabling Zerg broodwar because they feel too out of place in Valheim, is there any tricks that doesnt involve modding or console commands ? i quite frankly cant see :cozyrealmroyale: captain

You can kill yag in another world so you don't enable the zerg raid in your primary world. then you can craft the mistlight.
Or you can use the console or mods... pick one.

play the mistlands without it. i have been doing this for 3 weeks now myself. it works. gotta be more careful and look for mistfree areas and the blue lightposts.
i didnt do this because i wanted tough. i simply didnt know plains boss existed till i found a sign for it WEEKS after i was done with my plains gear and never saw a fuleing totem till then either. given its spawn is als FAR off south from my exploration route i am not suprised i found 2 queen spawns before it. and its on an isolated island in the middle of nowhere ocean on top. and it had 3 fuleing totem spawns pretty much right next to it... no suprise i never saw the damn things till then. still havent seen a 4th of 5th totem yet. and didnt bother searching for them given i already have full mistlands gear anyway already.

so whatever you get from him really isnt needed if you are careful take your time and avoid the super thick mist at the start. once you have the new gear venture into the mist and zoom IN. youll see a bit more. listen to enemy sounds. if you get jumped run to next dwarf outpost if the jump is too much for you.

Dvergr lamps clear mist too. Just look for the blue lights.

Try not to die while you look for them.

There are plenty of places in ML that don't have mist. You can get everything you need there to make the mistwalker, which also clears the mist. You're just going to have to search harder. Sail around the edges and look for llights, then go explore.

i dont know what the mistwalker is yet (and i dont want to know please no spoilers). and i am pretty sure i found every single new piece of ingredent in the mistlands. so whatever that is it probaly needs something from that yagluth boss maybe.

Yeah some of their lamps are fixed to structures (unusable), others are just sitting around and you can carry them or build fixed lamps of your own. The lamps are orange. The blue is to find them.

It needs the new crafting bench, which I think you can build without defeating Yagluth.

did you read my post? i already have that bench of course given it just needs black cores and some marble to make.

and i have nothing that is called mistwalker. in either of the 2 new benches. yes both have the upgrade aswell. like i said i doubt there is loot in the mistlands i havent seen yet after bringing like 20.000 marble home by now. unless its a super secret item with a tiny droprate. but i even got all the trophys from enemies. and these didnt unlock anything else either on the black forge or galdr table.
