Or simply push them down the tunnel, and build behind you when they try to go the opposite way.

toss shrooms or raspberries into the spot you want them to go. they usually swarm them.

OH BTW when working on your fence with tamed boars...

pen them in. those little bastiches will bolt to any opening they see in a heartbeat.

There's a bug where boars that spawn from a runestone and are then tamed try to return to the runestone. It's almost impossible to move them, better to breed some new ones and then kill that one.

You can harpoon them if you turn on friendly fire. They do get injured though. You can also push them. I did this for one boar using a moving tunnel, just to do it. For the others I temporarily installed a Teleport Everything mod and moved them that way.

It would be nice if there was a lead or something though.
