People trying to make this WoW or something?

It adds some longevity to the game and the affixes on the loot are Valheim specific. It's pretty neat, would recommend messing around with it.

Very very rarely try mods. Old school player that just hasn't messed with it too much. If I do, I'll wait until closer to release. Don't want anything to possibly corrupt my current experience.

That's fair. I get the feeling modders are thinking the same thing, most of them havnt updated since April 2021

Not every mob will drop enchanted loot. It's pretty rare at the start of the game and more frequent as you progress. Legendaries and Epics drop all the time from fulings, for example.
