Yes, I kill ♥♥♥♥ super fast in any biome and I never die now (even in a straight up queen solo fight). The only thing left for me now is skilling up and keeping resources high as I don't really care about base building. My home base is my only base that isn't strictly for rest buffs.

Funny, an hour after i said that i died and lost 3 lvls in blood magic and 5 lvls in elemental magic. AFK problem with mistlands. Was only afk for 30 seconds.

no clue, but I ran mine for a new character with cheated in magic food and gear from meadows to mistlands as an experiment. So they were at it for a while.

I'm fairly certain I tested this and that was not the case. Only your own shield counts.

If nothing else- they live longer and get to do more hits.

Set up shop somewhere less well defended and keep them out while you build/craft/farm/smelt/etc chores. Ive got about 40 by doing nothing more than letting them mind my base while I do whatever. My base seems to attract every dwarf in a 10000 meter radius, though.

The protection staff makes blood magic the most important skill in the game. 60+ in it and you can basically turn on god mode as the shield has 500+ hp.

Well, I've got quite a way to go then. Hit 33 last night. Elemental is about 50 something.

Please double check my math[valheim.fandom.com] but to get level 40 blood magic your skeletons (I assume 2?) have to amass nearly 3K hits while level 60 requires nearly 8K. Level 80 is phenomenal with 16K hits. No easy thing and I was feeling pretty smug at level 36.

You can give your skeletons a shield, and when their shield is destroyed, it counts toward your blood magic skill as well
