But... That's just how it is in most other games with online mode. You either host it yourself with your internet / server, or pay for a hosting company to host a server for you. That's how it works most of the time.

Dude.. just rent or host yourself. Renting is fairly cheap if you can't host yourself.

Guild Wars is not the same kind of game as Vaheim, the comparison is not viable. GW is a mmo, Valheim isn't. This is a COOP PvE game with a recommendation of five people. It's comparable to minecraft which offers rented servers (realms) to it's customers.

Indeed, GW is a game with a larger scope. It was also built by a small studio of people who actually knew what they were doing and thus they found a way to pay for hosting servers for their enormously more complex software.

3. They don't know how to do it.

Ya cause the game didn't shine and get a huge amount of users ya? So they def don't have the money for actual improvement don't you thing. I just get pissed off when I try to host a community server for a good group of people I met on Discord, but can't maintain it cause God has me stuck in the trash disgusting subhuman country ok. Try finding out the work you did for the entire day didn't save up for God Knows what reason, ♥♥♥♥ my own base building, how would you feel if it was you building exploring and such.

why do you need a permanent server in this game? this is mainly meant for coop pve so you obviously only run the server when you come together with your friends?
dont mix this is up with ark and rust or whatnot,
this game has no multi-day long timers where you gotta run it overnight aswell. so why have a permanent server?

Cause others are from other countries with different time zones, not all my friends are from here, others wanna enjoy the game on the server we created, and it feels bad when they can't play it just cause I can't be on and run it, or leave a pc on and run it.

You'll need to pay for your own server if you want a persistent server. There's nothing else I can tell you on the matter.
