How do you build a door in a stone wall?
I've just testing out some things with building stone buildings, and so far the main issue I'm having is that when I put a door in the stone wall it effects the integrity of the stone wall above it in a way I can't sort with pillars or anything.
Is there a way to sort out the stone wall above a door problem?

I've done that and it makes it a step better, but still not as good as without the door there. It also has the annoying addition of making me need to use an actual door instead of a gate, and for big stone buildings I prefer using a gate as doors are a bit small.

What I do is put two 1x2 stone blocks above the gate, each sticking halfway out above it.
