Option to hold your spear upright
I really like the combo of a towershield and spear but the character holding it "upside down" triggers me a bit. Maybe the devs could implement an option to flip it in your hand and use it more like a roman legionary so stabbing forward instead of downward. I pick my weapons largely on which of the viable options looks coolest and so my opsession with the holding of a spear prevents me from using it. It doesnt ruin the game but it would be even cooler if the option existed. Thoughts?

That is the correct way to hold a spear if you are also holding a shield. The overhand grip puts it over your shield and out of the way.
If you want to look cool, get an atgeir instead. The spin attack followed by a stab works great against draugr and wolves.
Not that there aren't spear plays where you reverse into an overhand grip, but the vast majority are done underhand (even underhand while over the shoulder).
