The assets created are part of the game and copyrighted.

A fanmade art, that looks similar is safe tho.

But as it stands right now, NTF exist to launder money and they are a hot potato.

They are tantamount to MLM scams, only people telling you how great they are and how much you need to buy them, are people that have already bought into them that want what they stupidly bought into, to have value and the people that sold it to them in the first place.

It depends, but it can truly become a NFT if met certain conditions (here comes some financial and computer science theories that are quite long to explain)...

2 reasons nft's are unlikely on Steam or a game like Valheim...

1 - Steam recently added rules against nft games, so new nfts will struggle.
2 - Valheim types work on a procedurally generated world, so each seed is new to the player, so you can own a piece of land, so you cant generate revenue on that ownership.

Really not convinced that NFTs are being used for anything outside of money laundering and investment scams.

Hopefully never.
