i feel like this would be a fantastic quality-of-life update.

as a recent example, my friend went out exploring while i built up our base and he noted like 3 dungeons , a few copper deposits and a troll cave before he came back. he marked them down on his map but i couldn't see them. my map was also fully greyed out where he was exploring, so to see what he saw, he'd have to lead me to each place he saw, instead of me being able to go there on my own at a later time using the map, with that part of the map already filled out.

i think, to avoid confusion on who-placed-what-marker. there could be different colors for each players marker, or their name could show under each marker or something.
