Making manual saves with new Steam Cloud update?
Hi folks
Is it still possible to make offline progress saves. as you could before the new Cloud save system or did I need to accept the old file structure when I first logged in. I didn't do this, I assumed the new Cloud saves would be moire stable and I am not sure my decision is reversible.
The ability to make manual saves, though not perfect, so that you can revert to a good position rather than get stuck with what the game gives you was pretty essential to my gameplay and enjoyment of Valheim, in the absence of an inbuilt optional save system..

Definitely!! at Character login screen option to "move local" click it.. then click "move to cloud" you will find a dated local character file on HDU... do same with World ..just takes a few seconds and creates a fresh local world save ... then just click "move to cloud" and you are back fully on cloud.. ( word of warning i am totally vanilla unmodded works like a charm :-) )
