Game Crahses on Startup Since I Got A 4070
A few days ago I upgraded to an RTX 4070, when i decided to play Valheim i found it crashes every time i try to start it up. things i've tried so far:
1. updated windows
2. wiped drivers (DDU) installed again
3. -windowd - noborder (launch settings)
4. vlukin
So far nothing works and I just cant start the game anymore. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm out of ideas on how to fix it and since its such a new card not much info to go on.

When I finally run out of options/ideas, I usually wipe windows (delete partitions, make it a blank drive) and do a complete re-install. I had a pre-built with a borked pre-installed OS, causing gaming issues; it was solved by doing a fresh Windows installation (rather than a recovery/restore). Good luck.

Do you have mods installed? If so, remove them. Completely.
Solving edge case problems is hard enough without having to guess whether a third-party mod is part of the issue.
Actually, even if you don't have mods installed... do this:
This will clear any problematic settings/config files that may exist, as well as making sure you're not running any mods. Try playing again at this point, and see if the issue persists.
Note: your save files are stored elsewhere and will not be affected by the process outlined above.

- Uninstall Valheim.
- Delete the steamapps/common/Valheim folder from your Steam Library location (the default location is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\").
- Install Valheim.
