Wolf Breeding
Hi guys! So, I got myself two wolves 'by accident', I wanted just one for fun. But I got two and I am fine with that, but they are breeeding and I don't want a whole army. I have 6 now and keeping in mind all the pink hearts I saw I will have more. I've read that having a small pen or not feeding them can stop the breeding but I do already have a pretty small pen and I don't want a smaller one , plus it feels weird to have Wolves starving? (Yeah, I am the kind of player who restarts the game because I said smth rude to an NPC by accident) Plus, can't they die from being starved? Idk, is there any other way to stop it?

From what I understand, you can farm your own high-end foods from their meat and make yourself wolf-armor for being frost-proof. I know you said you are an exceptionally sensitive player, but I wanted to mention the perks of having lots of tamed wolves. Plus, OMGosh the wolf cubs are super cute!

I appreciate it nonetheless. But I don't think I can bring myself to do harm to my good bois and girls. And agree 100% they are super cute! Awesome, thank you! That guide is out of date. Nothing can starve to death in the game.

There is no starving. If you don't feed them, or they can't reach each other, they won't breed.

I think 6 is your maximum, they wont breed any more than that if they're enclosed

I got out with 3 of them for some hunting. They started breeding immediately and had a cub in the middle of the Black Forest. I guess that wasn't the best idea I think 6 is your maximum, they wont breed any more than that if they're enclosed

They have the >hungry< state and according to guide tamed boars can die if you don't feed them, that's partialy why I am wondering There is no starving. If you don't feed them, or they can't reach each other, they won't breed.
