I noticed that in some cases cultivation will cause the ground to sink. Luckily nothing major was ever wrecked by it, but it caused some remodeling. Either try not not cultivate to close to walls or expect to have to shove a stone under a wall that used to touch the ground.
Paving can go similar, but it tends to raise ground.

Cultivating works just like the hoe.

If you are on high ground, the cultivator will try to raise to that point. Likewise, if you are on lower ground, the cultivator will try and lower the ground. If you are cultivating near structures, just make sure you are on even or higher ground and you won't have to worry about lowering the ground and losing support.

Thanks, I'm doing allot of this type of work during the night and it is hard to see. Will pay more attention to the level of the ground.
