Water in valheim i'm pretty sure is just a layer, which can be annoying when trying to mine underground ironscraps.

This would be epic if they had that feature, I'd create a Dam in order to raise my river.

If you can dig enough down, you find water ;)

i caught a few land fish that seemed to be fine breathing air

1. Go to the shop
2. Buy a bottle of water
3. Unscrew it
4. Stop breathing
5. Pour some of it into your mouth
6. Try to swallow it

You do have to worry. For vikings, death is simply a second life where you have infinite lives.
You either spend eternity in hell being tortures and killed over and over or you spend it in heaven fighting hordes of enemies and feasting with friends.

So while you can come back to life infinitely, pain and death are real in the afterlife.

hmm? Somethings blinking. Not the food bar. Far left I'll try retrieve meh screenshot. Do you know how I find that? Another thing in the screenshot I think there is a "Stats for nerds" or something. I hit some button and now I don't know what I did so , I can reverse it.

Beside the health and food bar are up to 3 icons for food you've eaten. If one is blinking it means its effect is halfway gone and you can now eat more to fully refresh the hp/stamina boost from it, and/or eat another food, or let it fully expire. You don't ever starve, but without eating your food and stamina go back down to minimum and without at least a single food item you don't heal.
The only other thing that might blink down there is an indicator you've been poisoned and are taking damage over time.
