I would guess first quarter of 2022.

If I was them I would be pushing to get Mistlands out before Christmas. Go for another big influx of cash.

Yep this is my prediction too, figuring around Jan-Feb 2022.

All we can do is speculate. But anyone saying 9 months or over a year is just trying to smear the devs by pulling numbers out of nowhere.

Given how much money they have made on the game, they can hire some more people and bring the updates out sooner. 9 months is a f4k`n long time.

They said it would be longer than the the last one so probably 9 months or longer.

Given how long the last update took and that the next update is going to be a bigger one, I guess probably not before 2023.

I doubt they can wait so long
It would be a mistake to release not at least a small to medium Patch arround christmas
Something easy to make but with big effect for the gameplay
Like
* 5m woodlogs
* A boat with a cage for the transport of Boars and wolfes
* A NPC that move arround between a bed and the workstations in a base (who need food but creates a bit stuff for free)

I would love to have an npc to do the smelting. That is tedious when you are playing alone.

wrong, the devs have said they hope to push smaller updates more frequently.

Yes and patches bigger than H&H aka Mistlands would take longer and unfortunately content wise H&H was extremely small so anything of real tangible value is a long time off.

There's a mod that will auto fill furance/smelter from nearby chests, and place the finished product in chest too, also works for cooking stations and charcoal burner. I'd love to see NPCs for crafting eventually but this mod will do essentially that until/if they ever add that feature.

There is more than one mod doing that.
I prefer Valheim+ because it offers so much more and spares me so the need of 10-30 single mods.
My workstations take Ressources and put Products from/in a Crate in 6m range

H&H was their first big update (And I know it wasn't huge but it's something) and they've hired more people since launch so I would expect updates to be quicker as time goes on and the team gets more staff and they all get more experienced with the code/artstyle. Hopefully with the extra staff they can push out more smaller content updates while working on the big ones.

I couldn't remember which mod was doing it but pretty sure that's the one I'm using. Have a bunch of mods installed now so wasn't sure what was doing what exactly.
