No death mod?
Hello fellas
I was just wondering if there's a mod that makes it impossible to die?
Kind regards

The gravekeeper mod will allow you to keep all your stuff upon dying. This seems like a good compromise between walking around immortal, and regular mode.

I am sure that the best way for this is god mode or ghost as others said.
It would be really cool if the devs implemented some sort of an "Creative Mode" because I like the building aspect of the game

Disclaimer: I know I have room to grow with learning fight mechanics and improving my use of them.
;Tldr Died 4-5 times losing about all my top (for me) gear and extra sets. Was on the verge of quitting. Found this post. Compromised with my desire to not "cheat." Used ghost to get to my body and get my gear, but once I had my gear, I turned ghost off and fought my way back.
------ ------- ------ -------
I really appreciate the people who helped on this post. I was on the verge of quitting this overall delightful game when I found this.
I had full iron gear halfway upgraded in the swamp. Was heading to one of the bosses and stumbled across several corpse and bone piles right by each other.
After some fighting, died. Had high level food, some medium hp pots, and a poison reduction pot applied.
Geared back up with bronze gear trying to get my stuff back. Died again.
Tried again with troll armor- lil sneakier this time. Died.
I felt super disheartened and was tempted to quit, but I really enjoy this game, challenge and all, so I decided I would farm up some bronze armor and try again. Died when 2 ghosts, about 8 draughers, and a couple slimes somehow all spawned right around me.
At this point I was tempted to just walk away and cut my losses. I have some time in this game enjoying adventuring, building, and crafting- I've gotten my money's worth. But I hate giving up... So I took to the forums to see about maybe asking for help getting my gear back. Top post at that time last night was this one.
I generally don't like to use any sort of cheat codes in games- it takes away the fun of the game- but I have limited time to play, and don't want to spend 10s of hours restarting again and again. This game is already grindy enough- a pleasant grind overall, but a lot of time. I have commitments in life, so I decided to compromise.
I used ghost to get to my body and get my gear, but once I had my gear, I turned ghost off and fought my way back.
Also read someone suggesting gravedigger mode. I like there being some penalty for death beyond the skill point loss, even if its the time to run to my corpse. So, I'll stick with ghost.

You shouldnt play without death - thats boring.
I think your game will probably be way more fun if you just remove the death penalty. If you do that the only penalty for death is having to get to your gear.
If its just about getting your gear from an impossible spot you can use the things posters above wrote.
Your personal idea of what is and isn't fun has absolutely nothing to do with anybody else's. OP asked a question, if all you're going to do is try to convince them that they're enjoying a game incorrectly then just don't post.

You play the way you want to. After all, video games are for your entertainment, not for community approval.
I have a setup and started to use it around day 200 of my first playthrough which allowed me to lose nothing on death and not lose any progress (not lose 5% of stats). I could still die and would return to the last spawn point, but it allowed me to learn the game without too much frustration on that first playthrough. Now that I know the game and a few experiments with that mod parachute, I can deactivate the mods.

Valheim+ will let you change just about any number you want. Make yourself stronger and the enemies weaker if you want. Remove death penalties. There's lots of QoL stuff packed in there that you didn't know you needed too.

God mode is invulnerability, ghost mode is enemies ignore you. Neither stop you doing anything. Alternatively, use the cheat sword to stay vulnerable but make every enemy a one shot kill.

When you're in flying mode (open console, devcommands, debugmode, close console, press z) nothing attacks you, but you can attack normally.

@ Schmowu: Thanks for pointing out the necessity of typing in "devcommands" into the opened console in order to be able to "cheat". I forgot about that :)

Hello :)
Where is the fun in playing this game without the possibility of dying (ingame) while doing so?
But here is a little bit of help for you (i dont know if there are mods that would have the same effect, sorry):
You can enable "godmode" via console.
Here's how to activate the console:
Right-click Valheim in your Steam library.
Select Properties.
In the General tab, look for the Launch Options field.
In it, type "-console" (without quotation marks!).
Close the General tab.
After you have done that, press F5 ingame (that will open the ingame console) and enter "god" (for godmode) and maybe "ghost" (for ghostmode so the enemies wont notice you at all).
