I've mixed my crops with both boars and wolves for efficient land use but ultimately decided to keep them separate for one reason: the animals have a tendency to GET IN YOUR WAY when harvesting or planting.....did I scream just then? I think the devs modeled tame roaming code after cat behavior......

Agitated bees are not friendly to tames or players and I believe frightened tames can agitate the bees. That may have changed as I have kept them away from each other after a couple of 'incidents'.

Not to worry. In my current playthough I'm using an imported character for a hybrid creative/survival build and I haven't killed any bosses. In my 'real' game my pig farm is under The Elders platform. Just gotta dig deep and pen them around the edges so the Elder Fire doesn't scare 'em. Totally impervious to all attack. Except me and my butcher knife.

Li'l pro tip for any noobs out there.

If bees are aroused, I'm pretty sur that their poison cloud will damage anything, player included. Am I wrong?

Yep, you are right ...

Bees can be dangerous to them if something (usually a raid on something with a ranged attack - bone and draugr archer, dragon, surtling ...) destroys their hives. Then pigs kill reliably (own experience).
At present, I suspect that a nearby hive is preventing the domestication of pigs.

If boars are tamed bees will not attack them.

They wont touch your garden unless you've harvested them and left them on the ground. They might attack the bee's and the bee's will kill them? Not sure with the bee's, I keep mine up high.
