the marker floats so its where he drowned.

Best thing he spawns naked into your game and dies... then respawns in your base . or wherever he made his base. done. easiest way to connect to your game again. otherwise you will never find his dead body again in the wide ocean.

The first troll I ever encountered chased me into the deep water where I drowned. My marker was on the nearest shore so I would imagine if you despawn at sea u will find a marker along the shore. It should also show up on his map.

He respawns exactly where he was via world coordinates. So if the boat was right there he could get in, or maybe even be on it if you didn't move at all, but with waves and all that's unlikely. If he doesn't move in the water, he won't drown, you can pick him up.

or he log on other server leave stuff go back die and respawn.. go to other server retrive stuff..
