random stone golem that only power hits
what the title says, im in a battle with moder currently and it will spawn wolves and golems throughout the day and night.
just dealt with like a dozen wolves and am on a second golem now, which seems to be overly aggressive.
cannot parry any attacks because the only attacks it has is the double fisted power attack, and it's not changing it up.
i've almost died trying to parry an incoming attack twice now and am pretty annoyed to see that there is no mention anywhere online about this, so im thinking this is a bug with the ai code and how it attacks.
it's kinda annoying since im trying to fight moder, not a friggin golem that won't even let me in close enough to hit with my mace.
and full disclosure, im only fighting moder on my own world rn because my friends server isn't up, im currently at mistlands tier gear so the fact that im unable to parry whatsoever because of this golem using only power attacks is kinda lame.

You could send a bug report to IG or you could give up and devcommand kill them all or whatever it is. Then you could try again with a fresh fight. Sounds strange though. Welcome to EA.i posted this 6 hours ago... lol
it was originally just a discussion meant to ask if people have seen bugs like this before, so that i could know if it was an actual issue to report that has been replicated.
other than that, the golum actually died after the third wolf hunt, the wolves managed to actually get him staggered and killed him. i laughed pretty hard at that.
still tho, he managed to take out hordes of them, if i wasn't in such a panic i would have configured my recording software just to show the mayhem, one super golem vs dozens of wolves whilst moder destroys every destructable around me while i dodge her attacks from the air.
got a screen shot of me riding moder tho lol.

I'm not sure why it is doing that, but if you don't want to keep fighting the newly spawned golumns, just dig a hole by it and once you're deep enough and the golumn is above you on the edge, dig out from below it and trap it. It stops the constant respawning of them.

im mistlands tier, i can literally kill this golem in 3 strikes.
the issue is that i can't mine a hole for him because moder is always nearby, and he can't even be attacked from the rear.
it's like he's supercharged, he's even attacking at a faster animation rate.
i mean it's one thing to have a golem spawn, but this guy is sprinting, and only doing the double fist power attack.
like i said, i had already dealt with one prior to this guy spawning with ease, for some reason the games deciding to cheat today.

this game does not want me to kill moder.
and i don't mean it is too hard, i mean im literally almost done fighting moder and about to kill her and im just constantly being swarmed by this kind of bs.
didn't happen on the other servers where i fought moder, so what is the deal with this?
raids shouldn't happen during boss battles, and golems shouldn't enter god mode ever.

This is what happens when a tree falls on your head and you curse the gods but don't carve a runestone to apologize.
I don't know what to tell you about this one, but I always do spawn proofing before summoning bosses. First I've heard of a super charged golem, and that sounds like a bug, but not the first I've heard of area spawns ruining a Moder fight.

i can deal with the wolves, but when you have a supercharged golem that is constantly powerattacking you which stuns you instantly, it makes it so 12 wolves biting your ankles can really decimate you.
i mean, this is harder than any infested mine i've ever been in, and i've seen ones where the seekers cheat by purposely sitting on ledges you can't hit them on, but they can hit you from.
i can't help but think if the devs implemented stamina for the ai, this issue wouldn't be a problem.
golems wouldn't get stuck permanently in sprint mode and power attack mode.
wolves wouldn't be able to chase you to the ends of the earth.
so many issues would be resolved.
