Item belt that adds inventory slots at the cost of extra weight.

I was wondering what people would think of this as an option.

Trader could have another belt you could buy and equip that would add maybe 4 inventory slots but would take the place of the weight belt.

So basically you could sacrifice/choose between extra slots or extra weight.

Do you think that would be unbalanced?

How many inventory slots should it add for a loss of 150 weight?

Do you think anyone would use it? Would you use it?

I think I would in that there are times, especially during foraging or hunting, where I am not close to weight capacity but short on slots... of course the opposite is true for mining or logging.

I dont see why it needs to be a trade-off. Just have the inventory slots on your back and the weight on your waist.

Would be useful at times, for sure.

300 is plenty when not gathering large amounts of ore/stone/wood, but slots have a tendency to run out. Burial chambers are a good example when you walk to one and collect stuff along the way; nothing weighs much but the number of different items is high.

Or or hear me out, we could politely ask for a paper doll on which to store our armor freeing up like 5 inventory slots because we are wearing our armor it's not in our pack.

Which is naturally balanced by the weight mechanics.

*adding extended inventory mod to the list*
