Mistlands Boss Experience (Partial Spoiler)
My experience with this boss:
-Get the best armor and weapons in the game, upgraded, with the best food.
-Walk up to the boss site, ready to open it up.
-Immediately get attacked by a flying monster, so I dealt with that first, went back to HQ.
-Went in, realized that as soon as I died it would be extra frustrating to recover my body and prevent instantly dying on the way to it.
-Reached the boss. Could do no significant damage with my bow; didn't try the arbalest yet.
-Tried melee, got killed near instantly.
-Respawned, ate food. Oh, you wanted to go back in there? No you have to fight a seeker soldier on the way in. Fine.
-Devcommands cheated to get to the body, since it was pretty much certain death to find and reach it otherwise. While invisible, banged on the boss a little to see if it was vulnerable to anything. Nothing obvious. Also the arena is so misty that as usual for this biome you can barely see what you're doing, even with the item that exists for the sole reason of dispelling mist. Went back to base and returned.
-Switched to the eitr armor. Turned off cheat. Started to fight honestly and cautiously. Instantly got attacked by a seeker. Fine. Looked for boss -- nope here's another seeker and another. Near-instant death before I can even try magic on the boss, partly because the eitr armor is so weak for anything but magic it's a downgrade from Mountains tier standard armor.
-Decided this wasn't fun, unlike the Yagluth fight.
I could see this being a fun battle in multiplayer, but in SP, I'm seeing nearly instant death while using the top-tier armor and food, having to fight endless waves of minions you can't do anything to wall off, bad visibility, and extra-frustrating body recovery.

Wear feather cape, find the stairs, run and throw fireballs. I liked the boss because it was quite different from all the others.
Recovering lost items is the only conundrum, but so long as you keep at a distance, it's possible to handle it. If you're starting to run out of resources like forsaken powers, rested bonus or potions, you can always jump down (with feather cape) and try to make it for the exit?

You can kind of cheese the boss with the big hammer and itโs AoE damage in the entrance area of the boss.

So you made a post about how OP the boss is and the only two replies you got were ways to exploit the boss.
Yep, sounds about right.
