Glowy things.

What's the glowyiest thing? I want to light a base but I sometimes leave it for ages, meaning resin/coal/wood runs out.

The yellow mushrooms found in caves work pretty good. Place on the stand. As many as you like they glow quite nice.

I built around runestones, Vegisvir, they have a bit of red illumination, but only up to a few feet. And I was planning on building a big outpost around an empty egg nest in the mountain, (surprised nobody mentioned it) the nest puts out heaps of light, but I haven't found a decent location that would suit a large enough build site without having to alter the terrain too much, as the nest itself won't move.

I heard putting item stands and putting up yellow mushrooms is a decent amount of light.

depends on how many mushrroms will be placed that way. also surtling cores or trophys or for a cool look the flame sword (which requires cheating) but if one is able to resist taking that sword to a fight it is epic lookin

I like Wards along walls in general. Look cool and a decent amount of light.

Surtling heads are good, but dimmer, and are great by doors in unlit rooms. Just watch for clicking on them (E) instead of the door.

Dragon Eggs are beautiful with their purple tint, and I use them too, but i still prefer Wards.

surtling trophies are decent. Not sure they're the glowiest.
