There is no timer in vanilla game , you clean the cave/dungeon/crypt and stay clean forever

No dungeon, or crypt, or cave have respawns inside without the use of mods which are outside the game norms since mods are not supported.

No I didn't miss that. In my very first cave I found out about that. But the thing is, the Mobs drop very few of those hairs... only if you are super lucky and get that one room with two two-part "carpets" hanging down the wall you have a jackpot.
Those consists of 2 parts, the top is just 1 hair.... the bottom can have up to 5 strands hanging there which you can pick by pressing "E".

Hey, you guys are probably missing something: When inside the caves, you can destroy the red courtains and the other similar type of courtain, but black, that drops more fenris hair and the red stuff.

this is not good - we need 60 fenris hair to just create set. And one cave provides a small amount

Troll caves do seem to respawn sometimes? Or perhaps those are bugs caused by patches. But even if they don't, I've gotten around 30+ per cave. Note you can loot the ones hanging on the walls also and even destroy the decorations on the walls to get more.

resist vs. fire, & +15 fists but only if you have all 3 pcs.

To make the whole set you need:
60 fenris hair
12 wolf pelts
1 cultist trophy
20 leather scraps
