we should just have the option to use a password or not to but i also get why the dev's made it password only servers. it all boils down to it should be our choice to add a pasword or not.

Make a server with a public password, watch what happens. Trolls show up using hacks and shortly make your server crash and non-recoverable by massive spawning in of things. Then you have to wipe the server and restart, and the same thing will happen again. This is why you don't see many servers with public info, and why they don't last long.

Obviously it would be chaos. That is why everyone makes servers with passwords. It is a choice people make to do so.

Make your own and find out if you like.
