For enabling devcommands..

1) Go to valheim properties in your library. Under general tab, in the launch options, type
-console
2) In the game itself, hit F5, type devcommands
3) Variety of commands. For spawning it is " spawn [item name] [amount]
ie what i did earlier today because my onions vanished..

spawn onion 16

or for you
spawn IronScrap 600
At the bottom of the console it includes some autofill options for items. Not all items will offer an autofill, specifically metal like iron and bronze. Press Tab to cycle through them

other commands include fly, god, ghost (you have no aggro range), killall, tameall (iirc)

if you do anything with metal and plan on logging, i recommend forcing a world save by sleeping before logging out.

Right-click on Valheim in your Steam library.
Click Properties.
Select the General tab.
Click the text box under Launch Options.
In that box, type “-console” (without the quotes).
Launch the game.
Press F5 to bring up the console commands again.
Type “devcommands” (without the quotes).
Previously, it was imacheater, which is kind of funny!

to spawn in use: spawn {item} {number of item}
so that would look like this: "Spawn scrapiron 30"
or "spawn fine wood 50"

You spawn iron bars instead of scrap iron?

Next time, store the ore on shore until you're ready to ship it.

don't try to spawn all 600 scrap all at once or it may crash your game. do it in smaller batches

Have you looked around for the ship? If you exited soon after getting off the ship, it could have been desynced, which would mean it would be somewhere along the path you took to sail in.

by cheating, using devcommands and spawning what you are missing

Easiest thing and what I would do, is to enable devcommands and spawn the ore that is missing from console. Other than that, there probably isn't anyway of recovering what is missing.

How te enable dev commands then?

In future, you should also try and avoid using ships, they're nothing but buggy messes.

I've never had issues with ships, I am guessing the game just didn't save properly.

Just google "devcommands valheim" there should be a few results. The Pcgamer article is probably the clearest on what to do. Basically in steam, right click on valheim in the game list, click properties, the field named launch options type -console. You'll have to look up the commands after that, but they should all be in that article.

Keep your ship in a box in the future, they tend to get targeted and smashed and every damn time I come down to the dock I get the lumber and hides back but the nails despawn...which is sort of hilarious (rust) even under workbench....still sort of annoying I always keep 10 spare iron around just for that wondrous occasion when I didn't empty and smash my boat.
