Hey, gang! loving this game. Have a good in-world story to share.

So, I was exploring the coast (on foot) near the Southern end of the starter continent. I spotted a tower I wanted to explore. Guarded by a Graydwarf nest, but I've beaten those before. So I attacked. In addition to the usual cast of characters, the nest spawned a TWO STAR Graydwarf Brute. O_O I was so busy blocking him (and taking damage through my shield) that I got swarmed by the rest of them. Okay, I died- NFP. Lost my full set of upgraded Troll Hide Armor though.
So, I hiked back home from my respawn point, and came back in my bronze armor. Not going to fight them- just going to dash in, grab my corpse loot, and dash out. Wouldn't have been a problem- except a Troll showed to the second party. :-( Okay, there goes my good bronze armor also.
Managed after several tries to sneak in and get out with my bronze armor. But no way could I get through that mob to get my beloved hunting outfit.
Fast forward quite a ways. I was sailing down that way at night on my way to mine some tin ore. It was a pitch black night, and raining. When I got to where I had lost my stuff, I noticed that my corpse had ended on the shore a bit away from the nest. Can I do this? I pulled the ship up along shore facing downwind for a quick getaway. Then I crept up VERY carefully. All those hours of "still hunting" have leveled up my Sneak a lot. Plus I've learned to use cover very well. Sonofagun, I managed to get my loot without any of the partygoers noticing. I crept back out, got on the boat, and went on my way. Yaaaaay!!!!
Clearing out that nest and ending the troll are on my "to do" list. That tower is in such a cool place on the seashore. We wants that tower, precioussss. . .
