Map Seed Enemy Levels
Has anyone noticed different enemy levels, most notably in the Mistlands, between different map seeds?
My main character has encountered maybe one 2 star seeker in their map. An alternate character and mapI have found a 2 star seeker the instant they entered the biome at an abandoned dverger excavation site, the first abandoned mines had several 2 star seekers and a soldier, and the queen location had a 1 star and 2 star seeker and a soldier.
I know it is not the biggest sample size but it seems like that one map has way more 2 star enemies. Thoughts?

Yeah I too have experienced what you have. But as mentioned there isn't anything else but rng, personal bias and apophenia

Can confirm having read this; boars and deer cannot spawn with stars within 800 or 900 meters (depending on your information source) of the player spawn. it is unclear whether other mobs can spawn with stars inside that distance, but I suspect that is an "across the board" rule. From what I've read, this isn't true. You do have to be a certain distance from the center of the world in order to encounter starred creatures of certain species, but once you are able to encounter the, the chances are always the same. The Further you are from the center, the Higher the Chances of Starred Spawns of any mob, did you notice if that High Populated stared seed vs the less often occurring ones was closer to the edge or not?
I'm not willing to die on that hill, but that seems to be the case.

It's in the first "ring" of explorable mistlands. I was just surprised since my first foray into the mistlands I encountered 0 2-star seekers, over the course of probably 40+ hours and maybe 10 mines. Now I am very wary of the "overrun" dverger excavation camps, there seems to be at least 1 star seekers in them.

This may be more related to when you played each seed rather than the seed itself. I'm fairly sure one of the more recent patches around or just after the mistlands release increases the chance of monsters spawning 1 or 2 star. I'm not 100% sure of this since i couldn't find specific patch notes for it but i definitely noticed an increase just in personal experience.

I can't confirm for sure, but I am FAIRLY certain it has nothing to do with the seed.

RNG is random. Surprise!
The seed controls the terrain; the enemies are spawned "on the fly".

Probably RNG yes, but I have 4 characters that have explored different mistlands in 4 seperate maps, and one is clearly spawning more 2 star seekers. Maybe it is just that particular area and not the whole world. Thanks
