What the f**k is up with the Mistland progression?

There's like 1 infested mines for every 10 dvergr outposts and I've only got like 4 black cores after clearing 3 mines, I don't even have enough for ONE crafting structure after all that time. There should be more infested mines or at least make them drop more than 1 f**king core at a time.

It was a real pain for me too. I didn't finish building my crafting stations until after I got the stone that marked where the Queen is. I actually had a chest set up between rooms with all the mats for the workstations so I could tear one down and build the other when I needed it. (The addons were build in the separate rooms or I would have just used 1.)

Not sure why people treat mistlands different from the rest of the game. Its completely normal to by chance find the boss before you have the equipment made. Eikthyr, elder, bonemass, moder. Yagluth is the odd man out here as its harder to find that one.

You might of just missed them. I thought I did a thorough search of my first Mistlands area, but I missed 2-4 after I installed a mod that showed dungeons. Also I guess RNG is RNG.

the mines follow the 'new' pattern of lots of hidden crap. Be sure you are opening all the hidden rooms and busting down all the wood walls.
that said its just like bad luck in the forest where you can get 1 or 2 s-cores for your kiln in a crypt or you can get 25, all RNG.
The difference is there are far less mines, but about the same drop rate. You have to search a LOT to get your 15 or so cores for all the new stuff, if you don't get lucky. For me it was seals... I got 5 cores in my first mine, and 5 more after the next 3, but held at 7 seal breakers out of 9 or so mines until this weekend when I finally got #9 (and 10,11,...14 now).

Basically, the amounts needed are not so bad, but the availability / RNG bites. Like you only need 3 or 4 skulls, but finding 3-4 skulls can take a week of running a grid pattern.
