Almost constant terrible weather.
Is this the norm or am I just unlucky? It's bad enough the mist is the way it is even with the wisplight, but do we have to double that up with almost constant fog?! Very rarely is it just sunny. I seep, fog. I change biome, fog. I wake up, fog. I go out at night, fog. I island hop, fog. The Mistlands dungeons are hard enough to find without the constant fog on top of the mist.
It is so frustrating. Losing my enthusiasm for Mistlands fast.

Weather is not random at all. Google for valheim weather calculator. You just need to enter your current world day and you will see all weather related data per biome including wind direction and speed, sunrise and sunset time, etc.
According to this calculator, weather is the same in all seeds.
Well this is very different to the last time I saw it being discussed. I notice though it doesn't have fog, only rain/storm/clear/blizzard.

The game starts with rain every time and when you reach the stone circle the sun rises.
The 2nd day ALWAYS starts with fog at the same time after the sun rises.
I don't know if only the start is hard coded or if the weather is a fixed value all over.
I would appreciate if someone could enlighten me. :)

Fog has always been a weird one for me. Like I don't mind the morning fog, or how black forest seems to just constantly have fog pools in lower terrain areas (which i personally thinks looks cool, until that same fog moves in on my leveled out terrain before i have lights up, then it just looks weirdly "soupy" below the knees). The rest of the time though, I have no idea what the fog is doing. It loves to show up at the least convenient times. I'll be oblivious to the fog (other than morning fog) for days but the moment i decide i want to go for a boat trip, we got a 3 day fog bank deciding to roll in (bonus if it's only in the local biome so you go from pea soup fog to just clear skies in less than 2 seconds because you crossed into or out of "ocean" biome).
Realistically I know the game doesn't KNOW and actively try to sabotage you, but the weather timing just coincidentally does that often enough it feels like it sometimes.

Yea I modded out the fog, the game is so beautiful and the fog doesn't do anything other than just be annoying. So it had to go.

Judging by these calculators I'm looking it, it's set for the entire game. One calculator just says "darklands dark" for the mistlands weather and the other doesn't have fog. All other weather is listed, but not fog.
You can certainly tell the difference between the fog and mist in mistlands.
While I dont doubt these calculators have some value, I'm questing as to whether or not (no pun intended) something is borked atm with the weather. I also seem to be getting double deathsquito spawns, since about a day and a half ago. So it's quite possible something has gone awry when they applied a fix.
It could also just be coincidence I'm only noticing the bad weather cause I just happen to be setting out to do something when it sets in.

While I might get frustrated sometimes I'm one of those no-mod players.

Bad weather happens a lot in my seed as well but I do get a lot of sunny periods, but it's strange how Wisplight only works in the Mistlands but not in plains when it's misty.

Well the mist and fog are different. The mistlands mist has magical properties that the wisplight counters, the fog is just...fog. That I understand. But you can get fog in the already misty mistlands and just past day 400 now and I seem to be getting a lot of fog events in both the mistlands and the plains, as well as the ocean. Ocean isnt so bad, plains is manageable, but fog on top of mist, every other day?! Yep.
The weather calculators I've been told about mention all other weather but the fog.

So you try to tell me that you can accurately predict the weather if i don't leave a region? Judging by these calculators I'm looking it, it's set for the entire game. For example, say I stay in the meadows and it's day 134, do I know exactly what the weather will be tomorrow no matter what game I'm in?
And if not, why is the weather on every new world the same on day 1+2? Someone has an answer to this?

It has already been answered. The weather is hard coded. That is why modders were able to make these calculators.

There are some bad weather, but not like that!
Thinking a bit...i reely dont know what triggers weather changes?
Hm...Id like to broden the question to the community.
Is there the same amount of wether in all seeds. Meening sun, rain, wind in %.

AFAIK its completely random. it rolls the dice every 30 min or something, I saw a spreadsheet on reddit a while ago. I'm just not getting a break it seems. Tuning seems way off. Even after I wrote this I had a brief moment of sun after the fog then the heavy rain started.

I see what you mean, but getting that kind of fog doesnt sound random.
I have spent a lot of days in Valheim and i guess (without knowing at all) that at least 50% is sunny days with more or less wind.

hmm, I have a lot of 'morning fog' that poofs away after a short time. I haven't noticed any sort of constant, persistent or otherwise hard to work with fog, which makes me wonder if its the area you are in or the seed or something else.
