Sounds like you skipped an area or two, currently Plains are the highest difficulty areas:

1. Meadows - Eikthyr
2. Black Forest - The Elder
3. Swamp - Bonemass
4. Mountains - Moder
5. Plains - Yagluth

Oceans and Mistlands, too, but they're pretty bare at the moment and neither have their respective boss yet.

If you've already beaten Bonemass, then head into the mountains, gear up with frost resist, plenty of the best foods you can make, and the wishbone. You'll probably be there awhile, so get comfy.

I'm pretty sure I can solo this game without dying, does that mean I can be a streamer now or do you need a "personality" or some kind of reason for someone to stream you playing a video game?

BTW OP you had wolf gear 4 days ago, the odds are virtually certain that you have longships and have left the first island by now. If there's a plains biome situated poorly near you, then I'm sure you can resettle, as I discovered as a non-expert over 6 months ago.

I mean if you go to the plains with iron (i'm still there as well) and expect to facetank everything you are indeed down on your luck. You can take on a single mosquito or a goblin but not multiple of anything, especially not melee. Don't bother with Lox', Berserker at all or those Tar thingies either, except for the latter you can lure things into them for the Tar (asfaik it's cosmetic building only), but by doing so expect to die and preferrably not close to a Tar pit because it makes tombstone runs hell. Anyway.. beside the Needles for the best arrows you don't even have business there in that biome except for crossing paths to other biomes and in which case it should be done sparingly. (Getting multiple mosquito's is almost always a death sentence). As for the goblins you can kill them rather easily same way as you do trolls.. just kite and shoot with your bow, same goes for a single mosquito. Also when crossing the Plains for whatever reason, always expect to die and have a spawn point closeby.

This is all from my experience so far in the game.

Edit: (TL/DR:) At our stage (iron) using Obsidian arrows is much less of a hassle lol and we have absolutely no business in Plains biome yet, except to cross it into other lands, which should be done with great care and only small distances, but using a boat to skip it would be even better.

P.S: Gather Cloudberries, as many as you can. They are the one thing that makes your deaths kinda worth it (at least at my point in the game lol). Better than many stamina foods you can make but require no cooking recipes and they grow in bulk.

where is your wolf armor? Did someone skip a biome?

the plains... sneak / steal one piece of flax and bow-farm a few dethsquitos. Make arrows, grow flax. One shot furbys in daytime with bow from stealth with new arrows and fully upgraded bow. Collect ore. Make padded armor. Make new weapons. Plains becomes low risk at that point.
to do that, you have to do the mountain, though. The smelter for the ore is locked behind the boss.

play better play smarter. if i can go into the plains in bronze and not die. you doing something wrong.
1. DONT RUSH. take your time. scan the area. look for sound cues. loook for the ♥♥♥♥♥ bugs.
2. FOOD. you should have atleast 130 HP in food.
3, if it raining. go do something else.
4. goblin cant 1 shot you(unless 2 star). a pack of golbin can kill you in 1 sec.
5. maybe try to tame a lox or loxs for protection.

i been exploring plains in bronze armor, only 1st boss kill. only times i die is 3 bugs on me or 3+ goblins.

Eat decent food to up your health.
Get better weapons or, even better, upgrade them.
Get better armor or, even better, upgrade it.

If you don't want to do that bare minimum just so you won't be "1-hittable" - find another game.

Your streaming success is not worth ruining the game for everyone else who does not suck and is willing to put in the effort and time for a challenging, but pleasurable experience.
Change your approach, focus on playing instead of "streaming" and use some common sense, or just find another game designed for people like you who want no challenge and just seek attention from viewers. Animal Crossing perhaps?

Iron armor in the plains? Yes, they should be able kill you.

Secondly, I do not believe mobs are spawning every 10 seconds in your plains base, I think this is hyperbole and you are not ready to be running amok on the plains in Iron Armor.

No no. He rather them dumb the game down until it's a borefest devoid of challenge. But hey, he'll have fun mowing through mobs as long as his streaming numbers keep going up.

Plains it is last biome for the moment and you go there with mid game gear , thats obvious you are doing the things wrong , not fault of the game

And yes, it definitely sounds like you're going to places you really shouldn't yet. That is no fault of the game.

An open world with vastly different difficulties in different areas automatically requires you to be smart about where and when you go.
If something keeps massacring you every time then you probably should be avoiding that something's territory until you get better equipment and food.

There's so much to take apart from that, but I think you're in above your head and should not be in the plains. Just go somewhere else until you've advanced some more.
