longship needs anchor
this "gadget is really something essential in my opinion. landing is very anoying without - especially if the ship is overloaded and everything else is against you
like wind, waves and shoals
in general its a cramp to manage an adequate resccue and secure mission if the ods are against you and there is no anchor
way too frustrating for something so good -> the whole sailing mechanic itself
by the way
is it possible that the ocean biome is going mad if you reveal more of the map? or is it just when ocean comes toegether with planes and swamp in the same time?
we had like 5 meter tall waves 30 meter away from the coast ..
the ship was cought on a tiny island and was thrown ito the air by the waves while remaining one the same spot ..
i even got falldamage while trying to turn the ship o.0?
it was verry thrilling and cinematic but seemed to be also verry buggy

Yes, there are some bugs when traversing the seas especially during storms. Our longship took some damage in the middle of the ocean, during a calm night. No hostiles were around.
As for anchors, I think something like that would be fine. I'm not a fan of needing to precisely pixel-point move my boat back and forth along the docks, so it can finally stay in place. Having an anchor would at least make the process less tedious.
