i started up valheim tonight for the first time and on the main menu i also got a trojan warning, also using malware bytes. looked at your link and mine is going to the same IP address.

Just purchased and same thing. I assume it's a false positive and you can just run Windows Defender while playing and enable MWB again after is what i did.

Its coming from different IPs so its hard to accept thats its just simply a false-positive trojan

I have malwarebytes and did not get a warning.

Mine wasn't doing this till today, I've been playing since February 3rd, I got in contact with one the Helpers on discord and they said they never saw this happen before. And mention it to the devs.

Malware Bytes here, i get a warning every time i start up, was not happening yesterday.

I'm now running three antivirus (including Malwarebytes). Did a scan on them and ran the game with active protection on... no reports what so ever. What you likely picked up was a false positive. Which in fact DOES happen. All antivirus software programs can produce a false positive.

Primus, I talked to you on the Discord already about this, I already contacted one of the Helpers and they're wondering whyi ts happening as well, False-Positives don't hook onto your PC from several different IP addresses and locations constantly at Once.

99% sure its false positive, but just would like to hear from the devs to be sure.

i continued playing and have gotten the notification 3 times from 2 ips over the last 20 mins.
second ip it is trying to reach is 165.227.206.235. also have screenshots if i need to upload it somewhere.

Talking to someone who is talking to the devs about the issue and they are indeed looking into it, for now I'm avoiding the game.

These are probably hackers trying to send harmful payloads through multiplayer to peoples machines. Common attack vector on multiplayer games.

Regardless of it being possibly a false-positive or not, it could be them gathering early access data from where the IPs are located, or it is a legitimate concern or issue. I'd bring it up and rather be safe than sorry, since it never did this before at all during the 6+ hours of me playing the game past couple of days,
