I appreciate you guys. I have problems getting an bronze axe so i can build portals. Guess i'll head to the Swamp next which i found yesterday by accident and see, if i can find good stuff there.

Bronze is an alloy, made of tin and copper- You know this right?

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin made in the forge. Tin can be found by following waterways and shoreline in the Black Forest. Copper deposits can be found in the Black Forest by looking for the very large rocks with copper veins in them and mining them with a pick.

Tip would be dont go into the swamp until you have full bronze armor, bronze axe or bronze weapon and upgrade your armor to at least level 2. I may even reccomend upgrading and making a set of troll armor for corpse run armor and or an extra set of bronze armor.

Otherwise the monsters will be 1-3 shotting you even with good food.

The copper farming kinda sucks and takes awhile. My thoughts are that this was the supposed time you may need to build a proper base before the difficulty begins to spike.

The swamp in my opinion is the start of the biomes getting more difficult. I definitely would properly prepare myself. You are constantly "wet" also, avoid being there at night if possible.

You will want at least in my opinion T2-T3 Troll armor and a bronze axe also T2 if possible.

Buckler if you can afford it or just upgrade your wood shield.

Lvl 2 bow with plenty of arrows wood or fire should be fine. Full rested buff and a outpost/base right next to the biome.

Royal Jam. Jerky and probably deer meat should be good enough foods. If you took your time even more and got a cultivator made and started to grow carrots you could have deer stew and carrot soup within a few days {assuming you found carrot seeds in the black forest)

Progress slowly and bring a hoe to help level out the terrain and make land bridges to help you not have to swim so much.

i went into the swamp with full level 2 trollarmor. I died and my tombstone got stuck in a tree i cant chop.

bring wood with you.. make a bench and a ladder/stairs up to it. If possible.

Some of them can't be chopped down. You can build a workbench there and sort of wooden platform your way up the tree to where your Tombstone is.

Add me if you want me to chop it down for you, ill just hop in, chop down and hop out.

If you don't want others joining your game, try to dig around the tree with your antler pickaxe, when you dig underneath the tree it should move around, if you make a slope it should slide a bit. if ur lucky, the tombstone will clip out of the tree

As others have pointed out, yeah there are trees we can't chop down actually. If it's one of those tress.. hmm not sure what else could be done

what difficulty? you need a bunch of copper and tin, and a smelter. The smelter is built using something red you found exploring the tombs in the forest. You are expected to keep doing tombs & mining metal until you have enough. The minimum is still going to be about 50 units of bronze for your craft station upgrades, cultivator, axe, and pick even if you don't go for the armor & weapons (you should probably). That means 100 units of copper, + more for the copper only crafting station stuff, here about 125 or 150 copper bars total.
so the black forest should slow you down a bit; beating the boss is not the only goal here.

the swamp, you probably want to have totally upgraded gear before going there, but its doable if you don't mind dying with lesser gear. One good crypt gets you a long way in the swamp, and sneaking to one is viable. You may find you need a good 1000 or more units of iron from the swamp, and there really isnt any shortcuts here. Everything from swamp on uses a fair bit of iron. Even with iron armor etc, you STILL want the bronze crafting and household items. Skimp on it if you want but eventually you have to have these things.

Once you defeat the Elder and have all the bronze gear and Black Forest foodstuffs that you could want the next biome is the Swamp. You'll be looking for Swamp Crypts and using the Swamp Key that the Elder dropped to get into them so keep it handy. This will start your progression into the Iron Age. You'll also want to build all the upgrades for your forge and workbench that the Bronze Age unlocks. The Swamps are especially deadly at night, so take care.

Did you get an item from the second boss ? Read it's description, it gives you a hint to where you should be heading next.

But yes, since our in-game map is fogged up you'll need to roam around the game to find it.

Work your way through all of the biomes. Meadows, Black Forest, Swamp, Mountains, Plains, and finally Mistlands. Craft better gear, build a bigger house, grow/gather better food.

Hop in your Karve and go exploring. The world needs to be conquered!

Would suggest hitting the swamps after you have have made some meads. Oh and do go through some extra crypts to setup basic network of portals and scour the swamps for special spawner for materials
